These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Specialist AI, a mobile application operated by Cedarline Labs LLC (“Cedarline Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using Specialist AI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Specialist AI.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Specialist AI. If you are under the legal age of majority where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Specialist AI
Specialist AI provides technology intended to assist football specialists with athletic development through features such as video analysis, mechanics scoring, AI-generated coaching feedback, focus areas, recommended drills, practice plans, analysis history, and progress tracking. We may modify, improve, add, remove, or discontinue features as the product evolves.
3. AI-Generated Analysis
Specialist AI uses automated analysis and artificial intelligence. Scores, measurements, coaching feedback, drills, recommendations, comparisons, and other outputs are estimates and may contain errors. Specialist AI does not guarantee: • Athletic performance • Improved performance • Recruiting opportunities • Scholarships • Team selection • Collegiate or professional opportunities • Injury prevention • Accuracy of every measurement or observation. You are responsible for deciding how to use any feedback provided by Specialist AI.
4. Not Medical or Professional Training Advice
Specialist AI is an athletic-development tool and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified coach, trainer, physician, physical therapist, or other professional. Do not use Specialist AI to diagnose, treat, or prevent injuries or medical conditions. Stop athletic activity and consult an appropriate professional if you experience pain, injury, or other medical concerns.
5. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for activity performed through it. You agree to provide accurate account information and not to impersonate another person. You may not: • Access another user’s account without permission • Attempt to bypass authentication or security controls • Interfere with Specialist AI infrastructure • Reverse engineer or misuse our systems except where expressly permitted by law • Use automated systems to abuse or overload the service • Attempt to obtain another user’s videos, analysis, or private information. We may suspend or terminate accounts involved in fraud, abuse, security threats, illegal activity, or material violations of these Terms.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of videos, photos, and other content you submit to Specialist AI. You grant Cedarline Labs a limited license to host, transmit, process, reproduce, and analyze your submitted content solely as reasonably necessary to provide Specialist AI, generate requested analyses, operate and secure the service, maintain your requested history and features, and improve the service where permitted by applicable law and our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the right to upload the content you submit. Do not upload videos or information that unlawfully violates another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other rights.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain Specialist AI features may require a paid subscription. Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are billed through your Apple account and are subject to Apple’s applicable payment terms. Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. You may manage or cancel your Apple subscription through your Apple account settings. Deleting your Specialist AI account does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription. You should separately cancel any active subscription through Apple if you do not want it to renew. Prices, subscription periods, trial periods, and available plans will be displayed before purchase. Refund requests for App Store purchases are generally handled by Apple in accordance with Apple’s policies.
8. Free Trials and Promotions
We may offer free trials, introductory pricing, promotional access, or other offers. Eligibility and duration may vary. Unless canceled before the end of an applicable trial period, a subscription may automatically convert to a paid subscription at the disclosed price.
9. Account Deletion
You may request permanent account deletion within Specialist AI. Account deletion may permanently remove your profile, analysis history, and other account-associated information from active systems, subject to our Privacy Policy and information we are legally permitted or required to retain. Account deletion may not be reversible.
10. Intellectual Property
Specialist AI, including its software, branding, designs, scoring systems, analysis methods, written materials, drill organization, interfaces, graphics, and other proprietary content, is owned by Cedarline Labs or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use Specialist AI for its intended purpose. They do not transfer ownership of Specialist AI or our intellectual property to you.
11. Acceptable Use
You may not use Specialist AI to: • Violate any law • Harass or harm another person • Upload unlawful or unauthorized content • Attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts • Circumvent subscription or security controls • Distribute malware or malicious code • Scrape or systematically extract data from the service • Resell access without our written permission • Misrepresent Specialist AI analysis as an official recruiting evaluation, certification, or guaranteed performance assessment
12. Availability and Changes
We aim to keep Specialist AI available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may occasionally be unavailable due to maintenance, software updates, network failures, cloud-service interruptions, AI-provider interruptions, security events, or factors outside our reasonable control. We may update or modify Specialist AI at any time.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPECIALIST AI IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” CEDARLINE LABS DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT SPECIALIST AI WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY SCORE, ANALYSIS, COACHING RECOMMENDATION, OR OTHER OUTPUT WILL BE COMPLETELY ACCURATE.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CEDARLINE LABS AND ITS OFFICERS, MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF SPECIALIST AI. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CEDARLINE LABS’ TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO SPECIALIST AI WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO CEDARLINE LABS FOR SPECIALIST AI DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) $100 USD. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
15. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cedarline Labs from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful misuse of Specialist AI, your violation of these Terms, or content you upload without the required rights.
16. Termination
You may stop using Specialist AI at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of material violations of these Terms, fraud or abuse, security threats, illegal activity, or requirements imposed by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use of Specialist AI after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
